A blog to accompany Mason's AVT 395
In class on Tuesday, September 27, we will be reading our one-page description of a Fall for the Book event. You will turn in the description afterward. We will discuss Drucker's Material Word (available on the web site) and begin looking at the presentations on visual/textual artists. I will be talking about some of the artists no one signed up for. I will also be returning the cut ups, found poems, and bios. See you in B204.

Colleen Kearney Rich has been more than 20 years of editorial experience working mostly with magazines and journals. Prior to joining Mason in 1988, she worked as a reporter for the Times Community Newspapers, as an advertising coordinator for Long and Foster Realtors, as associate editor for Kalmbach Publishing, and as the communications manager for a number of small associations. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Mason. She is a founding editor of So To Speak: A Feminist Journal of Language and Art.
